Since 2018, we’ve been perfecting the art of handmade scented candles. It all began at our therapy retreat nestled in the Alicante region of Spain. We weren’t looking to start a luxury candle brand—but when your guests keep asking to buy the candles you made for relaxation and ambiance, the universe has other plans. Fast forward to now, and FOX & WOLF is producing hundreds of aromatic candles each week—still by hand, still with heart.

Our candles are handmade in our studio in Spain using a unique blend of plant-based waxes—absolutely no paraffin, ever. Each one is poured, wicked, and finished by hand, ensuring an even burn and consistent scent throw that builds gently in the room. You won’t get a hit-you-in-the-face smell here. Just a perfectly balanced aroma that lingers like a good memory.
We only use perfume-grade fragrance oils (we’re talking the kind used in fine fragrance), and we pair them with cotton and linen wicks for a clean, even burn. Our wax is vegan and cruelty-free. No part of our candles contains animal-derived ingredients, and we never test on animals. It’s luxury with a conscience.

GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR CANDLE
Want your FOX & WOLF candle to burn beautifully from first light to final flicker? Here are our top tips:
- Trim the wick: Before each burn, trim your wick to around 5mm. This helps prevent smoking and ensures a steady flame.
- Let it pool: The first time you burn your candle, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the glass. This sets the memory of the wax and prevents tunneling.
- Avoid drafts: Keep your candle away from breezy areas. Drafts can make the flame flicker, causing uneven burning.
- Keep it clean: If soot builds up on the inside of the glass, wait until the candle is cool, then gently wipe it away with a soft cloth.
- Burn time matters: Aim for burns of 2–4 hours at a time. This keeps your candle happy and healthy.
Our ombré glass is not just gorgeous—it plays a role in the burn, too. Because it was designed for candles, it holds heat effectively and evenly. This means your candle burns safely and maintains an even wax pool throughout its life.
